How Do I Work Out My Pool Volume? 

To calculate the volume of your pool, you can use the following formulas or try our convenient pool volume calculator:
- For Imperial (Feet): Length (L) x Width (W) x  Average Depth = Square Footage x 6.24 = Volume in Gallons x 4.5 = litres divide by 1000 = m3
- For Metric (Meters): Length (L) x Width (W) x Average Depth = m3

Outdoor Pools - Important Heating Information!

 

To retain and absorb maximum heat into your pool water during the winter months, please use a foam insulation cover. A bubble solar cover will not provide sufficient insulation and will result in greater heat loss during colder months. If you plan to use your pool all year round, choosing the right cover is essential for maintaining warmth and energy effciency.

 

Please note that 1st Direct Pools cannot be responsible for reduced heat pump efficiency if the appropriate cover or setup is not in place. We're happy to offer you guidance on the best options to keep your pool warm, just give us a call and we will talk you through.
