These non-stabilised chlorine granules are ideal for commissioning new spas or regular oxidation/shock dosing of spa and swimming pool water.

Swimming Pool Application Instructions: 

1. Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2 -7.6 and free chlorine residuals between 1 - 3mg/1 (ppm). If the levels are not in this range, adjust

2. Shock or oxidising procedures are recommended either weekly or fortnightly with a maximum 10mg/1 (ppm) of free chlorine for a full shock treatment

3. Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10 litres) of warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned 'on', preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution

4. Repeat dose/application if necessary to achieve the desired level.

5. After using this product pool water may become temporarily cloudy, so keep the filtration pump running until it clears.

6. Allow the chlorine level to drop below 5mg/1(ppm) before bathing recommences, and in any event wait for at least 30 minutes before bathing recommences

Hot Tub Application: 

1. Maintain pH levels within the ideal range 7.2 -7.6 and free chlorine residuals between 1 - 3mg/1 (ppm). If the levels are not in this range, adjust

2. Maintain free chlorine or bromine residuals within the range 3-5mg/ 1 (ppm). * Freshly filled hot tubs or hot tubs left drained for a period of time require an initial start up dose of 50mg/1 (ppm) of free chlorine circulated for a minimum of an hour. 

3. Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container of a maximum rate of 10g of product per 0.2 gallons (1 litre) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the hot tub with the pump(s) turned 'on'.

4. After using this product, hot tub water may become temporarily cloudy, so keep filtration running until it clears. 

5. Allow the free chlorine or bromine levels to drop to 5mg/1 (ppm) or below before hot tub use resumes.

General Precautions - Dosing 

Never mix with other chemicals in the skimmer basket, including household cleaners etc, as a dangerous reaction may occur. 

Handling/Storage - Important 

  • Handle products in a well-ventilated area - preferably outdoors.
  • Wash hands after use. 
  • Ensure chemicals do not become damp in storage - store in a cool, dry place.
