How Does Jolly Gel Work?

Jolly Gel cubes (JG4), suitable for use with sand, Zeoclere, and glass filter media, are placed in the pump basket. As water flows over the slowly dissolving cube, it forms a porous, glutinous membrane over the filter media, penetrating up to 15cm (6”) deep. This membrane traps fine dust particles and algae spores, which are then flushed out during the backwash cycle.

• Ensure the pool's pH is between 7.2-7.6 before use.
• Monitor the filter pressure within the first six hours to avoid unnoticed buildup.
• Jolly Gel is not suitable for cartridge or DE filters.
