Sand Filter Cleaner - Blue Horizons - 1ltr 

Features:

Sand Filter:

• 1. Backwash the filter thoroughly, then turn the pump off.
• 2. Pour the required amount of Blue Horizons Filter Cleaner into the pump basket and secure the lid.
• 3. Turn the pump on for 2 – 3 seconds only, until the Filter Cleaner moves into the filter. Alternatively, remove the filter lid and apply product directly into the filter. Securely return the filter lid.
• 4. Leave switched off for 12 hours, allowing the product to clean the media.
• 5. Backwash the filter thoroughly until the backwash water runs clear.

Cartridge Filter:

1. Remove dirty cartridge and place in a clean plastic container holding enough clean water to allow complete immersion of the cartridge.

2. Add 1ltr of Filter Cleaner per 20ltrs of water ensuring the cartridge is fully immersed.

3. Allow to stand for a minimum of 8 hours, then carefully remove the cartridge element from the cleaning solution and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

4. Allow the cartridge to dry before returning it to service.
