Using Swimming Pool Bromine Granules

Bromine granules dissolve more rapidly than tablets, so can quickly raise the level of sanitiser present in your water, properly maintaining the ideal bromine range. Ideal for regular maintenance and controlling algae growth, bromine granules can easily be pre-dissolved and added to your swimming pool or hot tub. Make sure your pump is running when you add the pool bromine granules, as this will ensure the chemicals are properly circulated throughout the system and all your water gets sanitised.

As well as being a great chlorine alternative for pools, bromine granules are also ideal for use in hot tubs, as they remain effective in higher temperatures.

These granules are relatively pH-neutral. When using this product, you should maintain a pH level of 7.2-7.6 to ensure safety and chemical efficacy.

Spa & Pool Bromine Granules Dosage

To increase bromine levels by 1 ppm per 1,000 litres (220 gallons) of water, you should use 3 g of granules. Carefully read the product’s instructions for more details on the recommended dosage and application method for your swimming pool or hot tub.

Always wear PPE when applying the product and if you're pre-dissolving the granules, always add them to water rather than adding water to the granules. Handle the bromine granules in a well-ventilated space and never mix them with other chemicals, as a dangerous reaction could occur.
